This painting will be exhibited at the 2012 Friends of Delaware Canal Art Show at "Rolling Green Barn", Route 202 & Aquetong Rd., New Hope PA from Sept. 14 to Sept 16, 2012.
About Alex Vishnevsky
Hailing from Kharkiv, Ukraine, I fell in love with photography when immigrating to the United States via Italy in 1976. My camera arms me to capture ephemeral moments of beauty and make them eternal. Oil painting allows me to capture this same beauty, and make it truly my own. I find inspiration from my surroundings, from landscapes to architecture, from trees to people, from flora to fauna.
